Relay lets individual users optionally connect a Google or Microsoft 365 account to use email and calendar features inside the Service. These connections are made through each provider’s OAuth consent flow, are scoped to the connecting user, and can be disconnected at any time from the user’s Profile page in Relay (or from the provider’s own security settings, such as your Google Account permissions page).
If you connect a Google account, Relay requests only the following access:
Relay does not request access to read your Gmail messages or inbox, and cannot see the contents of email you receive.
If you connect a Microsoft 365 account, Relay accesses your mail (read and send) and your calendar (read and write) through Microsoft Graph, to display relevant correspondence and events inside Relay, send messages you compose, and manage appointments you book.
Relay’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
